Cat Karow is a seasoned technologist and cybersecurity strategist with over 20 years of experience in IT, software development, and digital risk management. As the Co-Founder and CTO of ZoraSafe, she leads product innovation and technical strategy with one goal in mind: make powerful cybersecurity simple, intuitive, and accessible for everyone.
Cat has built a career turning complex problems into clean, effective solutions—spanning everything from full-stack development to architecting user-first security platforms. She brings a rare blend of deep technical skill and creative problem-solving, with a hands-on approach to building tech that works beautifully and protects relentlessly.
Known for her straight-shooting style, big-picture thinking, and ability to code circles around cyber threats, Cat is the driving force behind ZoraSafe’s mission to defend families, retirees, and everyday users from scams, fraud, and digital risks. When she’s not building the next big thing, she’s probably tinkering with a new programming language—just for fun.
Ellie Karow King is an educational leader, curriculum architect, and gamification expert with advanced expertise in educational technology. She brings a broad range of experience spanning K-12 schools, corporate learning environments, and government and DoD contracting.
As Co-Founder and Chief Learning Officer at ZoraSafe, Ellie designs and leads the development of dynamic, evidence-based learning experiences that help families, seniors, and individuals recognize and defend against digital threats.
Drawing on best practices in instructional design, adaptive learning, and data-informed curriculum development, Ellie specializes in making complex cybersecurity concepts accessible and engaging for all learners. Her work emphasizes measurable outcomes, learner engagement, and the practical application of digital safety skills.

Todd Hillis is a renowned cybersecurity and intelligence expert with over 40 years of experience in cyber defense, intelligence collection, and forensic investigations. He played an instrumental role in working with Federal Law Enforcement to identify, catch, and convict some of the most dangerous hackers in recent history—including those responsible for breaching the U.S. Federal Reserve, the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Department of Justice.
A retired U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Hillis served 21 years in active duty, earning the prestigious Copernicus Award from the U.S. Naval Institute and AFCEA for his exceptional contributions to cybersecurity and information warfare (C4I). His security solutions saved the Navy over $30 million and strengthened critical defense infrastructure.
In the private sector, Mr. Hillis has held leadership roles as Chief Technology Officer and Principal Secure Systems Engineer at BAE Systems, where he designed and won key Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity programs, including the Host-Based Security System (HBSS)—a core security framework still used today. His expertise in cyber threat intelligence and forensic analysis has been recognized by the Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, and NCIS.
Currently serving as Global Intelligence Officer for the International Association of Certified ISAO’s (IACI), Mr. Hillis specializes in tracking and dismantling cybercriminal networks, hacking operations, and online threats. A pioneer in cybersecurity, his work continues to shape global intelligence and cyber defense strategies.
Cathy is Managing Director, Identity Access Management Operations. In this role she leads and manages a function whose primary mission is to provide access entitlements in a safe and secure manner. Cathy’s organization supports all the lines of business by provisioning system access for end users across the firm and in ensuring adherence to Controls and Standards to reduce identity and access management related risk. Her team also supports role-based access policy management for several technology organizations in the firm.
Cathy joined JPMC in October of 2016 as an Executive Director managing Platform Operations across Global Identity and Access Management and she was based in New York City. In August of 2017 she was named Executive Director for Enterprise Access Administration which included Platform Operations, Applications, Databases, and IAM Production Support. Cathy relocated to Tampa in July of 2018, and she was promoted to Managing Director in May 2019.
Cathy was named the JPMC Tampa Technology Center leader in 2021 for the 1900 technologists in Tampa. In addition, she leads several key Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives for Global Technology which is comprised of over 63,000 technologists.
Cathy serves on several non-profit boards. She lives in Bradenton, Florida with her husband, Jeff, and their dog, Rain. She enjoys mentoring, travelling, learning, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Brian Parks is a seasoned cybersecurity engineer and architect with deep expertise in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Security Service Edge (SSE), Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), and enterprise security architecture. With a career spanning over 15 years, Brian has led cybersecurity engineering, risk mitigation, and security architecture initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, federal agencies, and high-profile organizations.
As a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer, Brian specializes in cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and network defense, leveraging industry-leading frameworks and technologies, including Netskope, Microsoft Azure, and CompTIA security solutions. He has held pivotal roles at HSN, Kennedy Space Center, J.P. Morgan Chase, the University of Florida, and the Department of Homeland Security – FEMA, where he played a critical role in strengthening cybersecurity operations and compliance. His expertise has been recognized through multiple professional certifications, including CISSP, CSIS, MCITP, Security+, and Network+.
Brian has a proven track record of designing and implementing secure enterprise architectures, mitigating cyber threats, and driving risk management strategies to protect mission-critical systems. His contributions have earned him recognition from FEMA for outstanding IT security performance, particularly in support of disaster recovery operations and critical infrastructure protection.
Currently, as Founder & CEO of Secure and Protech, LLC, Brian continues to lead cybersecurity initiatives, mentor teams, and enhance cloud security strategies for global enterprises. His ability to blend technical expertise with strategic vision makes him a trusted leader in the cybersecurity space, driving innovative security solutions to protect organizations from evolving digital threats.
Jim Gossett is a dynamic technology & operations leader with a proven track record of bridging technology, operations, and strategy to drive transformative business outcomes. With expertise spanning Background Screening (CRA), Cybersecurity, EdTech, Film, Financial Services, Human Capital Management (HCM), Nonprofit, Oil & Gas/Energy, Risk Management, SaaS, and Startups, Jim excels at navigating uncertainty, streamlining complex processes, and scaling innovation-driven solutions.
Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems & Finance from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of South Florida. With a passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams, he actively supports startups as a mentor and coach with the Tampa Bay Wave, leveraging his extensive experience in technology, risk management, and business process transformation to help emerging companies scale successfully.
